It is believed that there were seven magnificent temples what is known as the seven pagodas, built near the sea. But the lone survivor is the shore temple. Originally built in the seventh century and later Narasimha Varman II, (Rajasimha) completed the skilled labor in their government. This is one of the oldest temples in southern India that were structural temples built in the style of the nature of Dravidian. This temple has gained popularity on the coast and tourists flock here, as it has been included in world heritage sites of UNESCO. The temple is filled with designs made by Carvings.
